Axe wielding man in Croydon Purley Tesco Extra

I don't normally post these kind of threads but as this Tesco is 2 miles from my house and I frequent it quite often it kind of hits home a bit too close for comfort.

They haven't caught him yet but I suspect mental health issues - seems since the government's cut on mental health all sorts of ill people are roaming the streets now

Not sure what I would have done in the situation - I hope I would have kept my cool, lurked around and John Rambo'd his ass from behind (not in that way)

Not really racism is it though, he didn't imply that his race was superior. It was more like stereotyping and lets face it after the last few years in London he wouldn't be far wrong.

I had the misfortune to have to go to Croydon town centre a couple of years ago and I've had a more pleasant experience (and felt safer) in town centres in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

There was an incident near me not all that long ago. Some cultural diverse locals decided to rob a shop at GUNPOINT. What they didn't realise was there happened to be a couple of armed cops outside in an unmarked car just by chance.

They get tazered as soon as they stepped outside lol

Theres a prison further down the same street, so at least they didn't have far to go.

Having had lived in the 'Cronx' for over 30 years it's not as bad as people make it out. Had I the choice I would have stayed in the Thornton Heath/Norbury area.
