Do OCUK check items that have been returned then thrown in B-Grade? Just bought an 750ti and it's DOA. It's just a hassle. It seems the clearance section gets little attention from lack of testing hardware to not reducing used items.

Hi there
B-grade product is of course tested, as faulty items go back to manufacturer, it is their replacements which go in to b-grade.
B-grade items are typically:
- Damaged packaging (product in box no damage) goods arrived at warehouse but otherwise un-used.
- Items returns under distance selling as un-wanted if opened.
- Repaired items back from manufacturer.
Of course failures do happen, particular on some of repaired items as we don't test items supposedly repaired by manufacturer as well we'd expect them to be operational. We sell quite large volumes of b-grade product with most customers being very happy, especially with the large savings b-grade is normally sold at.![]()

Well that makes a lot more sense! I thought it was just broken stuff lol

Never buy a b grade monitor or GPU. Such a lottery. With B grades they just want shut.
Motherboards and the rest seem ok.
Disagree. My last three monitors have all been B grade and all three were perfect and a third to 50% off the current price.
So long as you are prepared you may have to send it back if not perfect then you can save a fortune.
My last monitor was reduced from £690 to £350.

Broken stuff goes in a skip outside, it makes me cry when I walk past the monitor skip to see Acer X34A's in it smashed and other £1000 monitors. But they are courier claims, so at least our insurance covers our losses.
