B-Grade checks

I have several b grade monitors all perfect.

in fairness though you get to see the items and see whats wrong we are buying blindly.

would be better if we could actually get a description of whats wrong instead of the vague copy and paste job in the descriptions.

Broken stuff goes in a skip outside, it makes me cry when I walk past the monitor skip to see Acer X34A's in it smashed and other £1000 monitors. But they are courier claims, so at least our insurance covers our losses.

How about selling the broken stuff on the ultra cheap? I love tinkering and you never know. A bit of solder here and an oven visit there and I might just get something working. The fun is in trying!

well av just took a punt on the b grade evga 1070 ftw for £330 lol still a few left if people are interested.

If you look in the Monitor thread hard enough there are examples of b grades being received DOA, without stands, scratched screens etc etc.

Considering the monitor lottery over brand new ones I wouldnt touch b grade monitors. Personal opinion.

Perhaps i have been lucky getting three perfect ones out of three. The worst one had a remote missing, big deal.

i guess you have a problem with people raiding the bins.

Would rather have the non B-Grade Palit one for £30 more.
You'll actually get a better warranty with the B-grade EVGA though, given it transfers to second owners even for eBay purchases and the like. Almost a whole extra year (since it'll go from the date EVGA originally shipped the card), plus better actual service in the event of an RMA.

Bought tonnes of b-grade from here and only ever had one issue, which was with a pair of roccat kaves - the drivers were knackered. Unless that's what a "gaming" headset is supposed to sound like :D. I've sometimes had accessories missing or bags of screws, with cases and mobos but it's nothing major & to be expected really.

Best deal I got was an Origen AE S10V for ~£80 quid, and there wasn't a thing missing or wrong with it! Considering the retail pricing at the time, £235 iirc, it was an absolute steal!

Ive bought a few things from there before too in honesty, couple of cases, both broken in some way or another, but both so cheap that I kept them anyway, one GPU that never shipped cos it went out of stock, probably oneor two other bits... :p

To tell you the truth I haven't ordered any PC parts for a while. e; November 2015 was the last time I bought something from OcUK for myself. :p

I've gotten butt tons of stuff from B-Grade and never had a problem.

Gotten GPU's, Motherboards, Monitor, All in perfect like new condition minus a scuff here and there on the packaging.

Best thing about all my B grade purchases whether its been a gpu, monitor or motherboard when i have come to sell them later on MM, i have only lost £10 or £20

Most of my B grade stuff has been fine, Dell even sent me a new monitor as the B grade one had a pixel dead!

My "b" grade Dell U2715h developed a dead pixel..sent 3 pictures to Dell who sent out a replacement the following day and picked mine up. Brilliant service and a fabulous monitor
