I REALLY want a high spec 2560*1440 monitor with 120 Hz . I don't give a rats arse how much they are but I want one! (commercially available don't want to import)
I was undecided between eyefinity and 1440, the price of the dgm made it an easy choice, so I can reconsider eyefinity again
Though it can wait till later in the year now.
If i go back to eyefinity it'll be with these monitors - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-053-AS&groupid=17&catid=510
My desk just isn't suited for 5760x1080, but with them flipping i reckon 3240x1920 might work for me, i'm getting all my unused holidays being paid at the end of the month, so might see about getting some. Should hopefully hear about my GPU soon as well, been nearly 3 weeks (gotta check email)
I just got the 27" 144hz of that model. Haven't tested it yet. OCUK didn't give me a dual link dvi cable or a power lead
I was looking at the sonicmasters for 5760x due to the near lack of bezel
You'll have to remember to tell me what they're like when you get sorted
Sweet retro and I have 3 of those similar monitors (3DVision 2 built in).
Look for the lighboost hack and games will never look as smooth as they do when that is working fully
Ah, it has displayport, even comes with a cable that has been in the box since I got it ... need to see if that supports 2560x1600.
Edit: Found the cable (forgot about DP, got the monitor from here in Dec 2010) but need a mini DP to DP adapter? Being B grade there may not be one with the card, only a couple of quid if I need to buy one but want it sent with the card ! Note in Customer Services - hopefully catch em in time.
