BA Flights

My departure time is meant to be 13.40, but it's updated departure time is 16.21. Does this mean that I should arrive at the airport at the usual time, in time for a 13.40 flight, or should I arrive three hours before the 16.21 time?

Always arrive in time for your scheduled take off time, not the delayed one. If not you might find they put you down as a no show and sell your seat to somebody else.

I should be flying out tomorrow, the chance of this happening is 0.001%. All other flights are already booked. Heathrow must be a zoo right now. Lessons learned: do not fly with BA and do not fly from Heathrow. What a friggin joke they blame it on the weather. I mean it was snowing only for a day here in London? And it`s not even that cold compared to some parts of Europe. How can they not deal with this properly?

FML I have to go through this **** every year. Last year it was the strikes and now the weather.

Merry Xmas me! :D:D:D

Sure I saw on the tv last night both Brussels and Germany's main airports only had a third of their expected flights take off.

Well the trucks got stuck in France.
Well they should have thought of that. There's been a ban on trucks in Northern France since last week, and there was one a few weeks ago when there was heavy snow.
These idiots should plan ahead for this stuff, the snow was forecast already late last week. For the amount of airport tax you pay to fly through Zaventem, it's totally unacceptable.
And the transport minister was 'surprised' to learn of the shortage in an emergency meeting on Monday morning.

Quite simply put, the whole thing is a poorly managed cluster****. Lessons have not been learned from previous experiences and investment in equipment, training and mitigation planning has been insufficient.
