OK. Just did that.

Great its even idiot proof (me) Just tried and stops the power button working. Saved me some velcro, spray paint and $10.

Ha.

;)

Hahaha not quite though. Their is one flaw to this genius idea :p

Hold the power button down and eventually the pc will turn of.  :D

4 Seconds she would have to keep it pressed for. her attention span is about 2 1/2 seconds so tha wont be a problem.

If this things ever starts playing a monkey on me thats when I do that anyway so that doesnt bother me.

Ha Ha Ha Genius!

I so had the same problem with my first, he pressed, turned, pulled, chewed, dribbled, pushed and stuck things in my old HTPC system and my amp. I bought a TV cabinet and taped the glass doors shut (had to retape every few weeks as he'd get through that as well). He's 3 now and has his own PC so is no longer interested. Unfortunately we now have a 10month old lad who I've noticed recently has his eyes on it all now - the sticky tape is coming out again this weekend to catch him before it all starts again!

...and even though I have an old sky remote for the boys to play with that we no longer use; why oh why do they only want to chew the remotes I use???:)

Lastly, I had an old keyboard which I chopped the cable off so they'd play with that instead. Now both boys think keyboards are toys - I can tell you from experience that a baby hitting all the keys is a lot worse than one pressing the power button! LOL!;)

Good to hear Im not the only one.

Beth is 11 months now so more or less the same as your wee lad. Im sure youll get a few more posts along the same lines from us both :D

You might want to water proof it as well, our little one, half asleep one night decided that my Mrs pc was the toilet!

I gave mine a really old keyboard, so old it had a 5 pin DIN plug on the end, a right solid thing it is. ...Fisher Price should take note as even my kids haven't pulled a single key off it (yet!)

Ha ha,

The Big Red Button.

Its crazy what kids like to play with. Mine likes to play with anything that aint a toy.

Recent toys include the box the IPOD came in, a bunch of keys, Mobile phones, Baby Wipes and my favourite........ The cable that runs from the BT box to my Router ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

:)
