I kid, my mother was a midwife. Which is how I can say in all confidence, that you know exactly what I mean, Leon - childbirth is beautiful, yes, but only in a metaphysical sense. In reality, it's disgusting and creepy, and nobody should ever have to suffer that. You're lucky it went the clean way - and well at that. Natural births involve puking, peeing, pooing and bleeding, and for the first birth the vagina has an 85% chance of tearing. Nobody ever mentions the poo - apparently, a lot of mothers find it quite surprising.
