Back again :(, fresh start

right i've come to this conclusion the i3 is pants and not for me so I'm going to put more money into it and get an i5-3570k wich board is best to go with it (ITX OBVIOUSLY) i just read that a z77 cant be overclocked at all, dont know how true it is....

z77 are FOR overclocking, however the Gigabyte Wifi does not allow you to modify voltage - so overclocking is dependent on luck of the chip (processor draw).

My friend went for an i5-3570k and this Gigabyte board, he managed to get 4.3ghz without any voltage change, so that's not too bad :).

AMD? ITX? They don't have any ITX boards AM3+
The i3 performs similar to the 8120 in games.
Where the hell did you read Z77 cannot be over clocked, H77 cannot. Did they also tell you that AMD was better?

Those weren't questions Mate, If you want us to help ASK QUESTIONS...

I like your enthusiasm to kick the i3 in the behind
But FM2 is the only soket that amd has on mini itx
It is an excellent board but it is gold with the onbord GPU
It is a good comparison to the i3 so it is a valid alternative
And cheaper evin a Atlon on FM2
IF budget gaming and dedicated GPU is on your agenda get:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-330-AM
60 pounds get it wile it is still hot :D

Yet as Hono has said his budget isnt high and mini-ITX isnt cheap.... Also the only AMD ITX is FM2 or Hudson.

Please don't ask me again if it all fits, don't tell me the mobo is out of stock again either. If something is out of stock that's usually a good sign as it shows it's popular. You don't "need" the Antec 620 but fitting tower heatsinks on these mobos is troublesome so CLCs are the way forward ;)

That's everything you have asked for. But you still need a HDD it sounds like and an optical drive, possibly an OS too. I really don't know what you have or what you are doing as you have changed your mind so many times :(

You have got to understand, these guys do not need to give you advice. They have done this more than once and will not tell you bad advise.

I've only built 2 or so PCs but learnt almost everything I know from these guys without actually having to ask them. Search the forums a little and see what other people are being recommended. I bet it's quite similar.
