Right this morning saw me remove the motherboard to install the CPU water block.
Presenting one installed EK Supreme LTX CSQ CPU Copper Acetal Waterblock...
I've used black M4 nylon dome nuts to allow me to visually gauge how much spring tension I've applied at each thread and to stop anything snagging on them as the build progresses.
I might actually leave them there as I think they look aesthetically pleasing

That's the rear extract 140mm Xilence CF2 mounted
I've used anti vibration mounts to eliminate noise as much as possible
Installed the Power Supply Unit
I'm using a Seasonic X-Series 650W Full Modular Power Supply
And pre installed the dual 8-Pin EPS12V Extensions
Plus the 24-Pin ATX Extension
These are just some eye candy shots

Lovely build mate, that's a nice looking motherboard and you know how to choose the right components
Shame about the Corsair they are renowned for their CS and if you ask they also arrange courier pickup for free but yeah that's all over and done with
I'm glad you bought up the GPU waterblock as I have a LE card which means there's no full cover which put me off the idea of just a universal block but to be honest who cares as long as it does the job and keeps costs down!

With reference to the GPU block, it makes so much more sense to go with a generic rather than a full cover; you don't really lose out any by doing so

One prepped Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 240mm Full Copper with mounted twin 120mm Xilence CF2's and EK EN PSC 14 Compression Fittings.
And here's my baby all prepped again with twin 120mm Xilence CF2's, E22 120mm FG1 Fan Grills and EK EN PSC 14 Compression Fittings.
Has all my measuring up and research paid off???

Yes the plastic of the Xilence CF2's is the soft touch variety, great bits of kit and highly recommended

Blooming norah , I did it again , I have been miss typing so much of late .
Looking good . You were lucky with the Monsta fitting that tight . I have just used one on my Phantom 630 , up front too , and have had to cut a piece off the bottom of the drive bay cage . It's an impressive bit of kit .
Nah luck doesn't come into it
The mounts on the DS1 have slots so I could raise or lower the Monsta as required or failing that just spin it around
I agree though they are an absolutely epic bit of kit

On a serious note, the lull in the build is owing to waiting on some custom fabricated parts to arrive; as soon as they do I'll update the thread
Right we have some more movement...
After much brainstorming I've decided to go with a pump/res combo in the form of the XSPC X2O 750 V4.
The rear provides an in at the lower left, out at the upper left, and a spare port at the lower right. The spare port can be used to bring together a parallel loop or it could even be used to bypass the pump and use the reservoir as a stand alone reservoir. This provides great versatility if perhaps you decide to buy a larger pump at a later date or it could probably be used as a fill port, etc. The casting quality looks very good and you can use any G1/4 threaded barb or compression fitting here.
Now to install it...
My aim is to go for a very minimalistic and clean looking loop; as point to point as humanly possible.
A revision of the fittings on the CPU block.
The pump feeds the roof mounted ST30 which then in turn feeds the Monsta.
Very happy with that thus far

In answer to your question possibly, the 660 Ti SC+ 3GB when overclocked will basically trash a high end 670 (hence the reason for watercooling it to beat the thermal throttling); I would be more inclined to go for a 680 in the future however.
