BackDraft Evo (a Nanoxia DS1 Build)

Lovely build mate, that's a nice looking motherboard and you know how to choose the right components ;)

Shame about the Corsair they are renowned for their CS and if you ask they also arrange courier pickup for free but yeah that's all over and done with :p

I'm glad you bought up the GPU waterblock as I have a LE card which means there's no full cover which put me off the idea of just a universal block but to be honest who cares as long as it does the job and keeps costs down!

Hey dacads :)

Cheers much appreciated

Bah Corsair  lol

They did me a favour and cost themselves a customer for life...

With reference to the GPU block, it makes so much more sense to go with a generic rather than a full cover; you don't really lose out any by doing so ;)

Ok that fateful day has arrived...

Has all my measuring up and research paid off???

A busy morning so without further adieu

One prepped Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 240mm Full Copper with mounted twin 120mm Xilence CF2's and EK EN PSC 14 Compression Fittings.

Your very welcome lol :p

With reference to the lighting I was lucky enough to be afforded a break in the weather for those to be taken :)

Lovely photos and a great start!

Cheers

Very much appreciated :)

Really loving the red fans, are they soft touch plastic?

Yes the plastic of the Xilence CF2's is the soft touch variety, great bits of kit and highly recommended

A few shots I forgot to post of the EK Supreme LTX CSQ CPU Block with mounted EK CSQ 14 45 Degree Rotary Elbows and EK EN PSC 14 Compression Fittings.

Deep Silence 2???

Blooming norah , I did it again , I have been miss typing so much of late . :D
Looking good . You were lucky with the Monsta fitting that tight . I have just used one on my Phantom 630 , up front too , and have had to cut a piece off the bottom of the drive bay cage . It's an impressive bit of kit .

Nah luck doesn't come into it ;)

The mounts on the DS1 have slots so I could raise or lower the Monsta as required or failing that just spin it around :p

I agree though they are an absolutely epic bit of kit :D

Meet the new arrivals :D

(Gotta hate it when your camera picks up dust invisible to the human eye lol)

"Sleek, stylish and quite aggressive"

Perfect!!!

And certainly in keeping with the character of the build

I love what you're doing with the colour scheme, and there's some really good use of components in there. Especially the 45Degree fittings on the CPU block - very effective.

Nice work mate!

Lovely build.

Thank you, much appreciated :)

Now there's a familiar face :D

Cheers M much appreciated mate, a long way to go yet but hey this one isn't a rush build; it's my first modded build proper in nearly 2 years.

7mm makes all the difference...

(size does matter lol or in this instance a reduction works better still lmao)

The old and the new

Perfect!!! :D

The additional 7mm I've gained would allow me to front and back the ST30 should I choose to do so or even install an ST45 ;)
