On a serious note, the lull in the build is owing to waiting on some custom fabricated parts to arrive; as soon as they do I'll update the thread

POKEBALLS!!!![]()
very nice indeed
will you be adding a second 660 TI 3GB for SLI in the future?

I would hesitate a guess that is approval??? lol
Thank you
In answer to your question possibly, the 660 Ti SC+ 3GB when overclocked will basically trash a high end 670 (hence the reason for watercooling it to beat the thermal throttling); I would be more inclined to go for a 680 in the future however.

This looks absolutely incredible. I'm loving the color scheme.
That said, I am a little confused why you're putting a 660 Ti in such a nice build.

)yes absolutely
your fan grills and the red fan looks like pokeballs....![]()

First time I've ever seen a motherboard with a side-on atx connector. Neat!

Thank you
And in answer to your question -
- I'm only gaming at 1920 x 1080 just now, anything above the 660Ti is pretty much pointless at that resolution (were I to upgrade my monitor I'd likely go with a 680)
- Lower power consumption
- The price I obtained it for (170 quid new
)
Your soooo right lol
To my knowledge EVGA are the only board manufacturer to do this![]()

Side on ATX connectors looks more handy tho![]()

Ooh, £170 for a new 660 Ti is a steal. I suppose the generic waterblock for the GPU makes upgrading easier too.
This is seriously beautiful anyway, I'm feeling pretty jealous. IMO you should get a window on that case though. Internals that good should be able to be seen.
The card I have retails in the region of 270 quid
And yes I bought the generic block with a possible upgrade at a later date in mind

Love that color scheme, never seen side on atx connectors either like many others but its a great idea.

not helping my case to not spend my spare student loan money on watercooling!Looking gorgeousnot helping my case to not spend my spare student loan money on watercooling!

Hmmmmm whilst not actively encouraging you to do so I will say watercooling is a very worthwhile long term investment, especially if you overclock your kit.
I do overclock... got myself a cheap 2600K a couple of weeks back and it is the first time my Corsair H70 has held me back, got 91 degrees at 1.4v which is too high for me, so stable 1.38v/4.5ghz.
