Been using Ghost for years and backing up your disk image over a network was a pain. You had to create Bootdisk with LAN driver etc.
Tried Acronis True Image yesterday and much much better. You can even install it in your MBR so you can boot into True Image without even needing a CD, just press F11 at startup.
Once loaded it automatically recognised and installed drivers for my NIC and picked up the IP from the DHCP server.
I now have the option to backup to a network share or ftp server. It will even backup to a USB disk, something Ghost wasn't able to do without again creating a bootdisk with USB2 drivers.
You can download a trial from Acronis, the Workstation ver. will be all you need.
