Yeah, security is pretty lax once you get past the initial check. Nice shots by the way, really wish I had a longer lens when I went. Glad to know you didn't machine gun like a loon too, some of the guys in the pit I was in probably had some serious timing issues hence the full on shutter mashing.

Damn, my train doesnt get in to Waterloo till 10:10 tomorrow and I know the first one starts at 09:30.

Oh well, i have the afternoon show, then im off to Covent Garden and then some night shots , althoguh i have to lug my tripod around for the day, it shouldnt be that much of a problem.

The actual show begins 1 hour later, I have a blank photo pass from today which would basically allow you to get in probably in time, would just need to figure out how to get it to you...might be too much hassle to try though.

As above the security is shocking. I think if you randomly rocked up with any SLR they would let you through

Your shots with the 70-200 are great, stick with that if I were you. Less to carry and hold thats for sure.

I recommend you stand next to the camera man if you want to get them looking at you.

Borrowed someone's 50L for this...

I think I really want the 50L now, but the example I was using seemed a bit soft. It did look a bit well used.

I am shattered and the last thing I want to do right now is trawl through several hours of shots....the crowd in your timeslot were pretty cool, in the morning there was a mini fight over positioning between a few of the other togs, was hilarious.

/next lens on the list, I mean what else is there left under 100mm? lol
