I have to do backups for loads of computers of varying types all the time.
Currently just have an external 1tb drive i copy to.
But i had a bit of a scare when it started to corrupt and i thought i'd lost all the data.
So whats a safer solution to back up data.
I do need it to be usb so i can just plug it in to a laptop or pc to backup.
esata would be useful too.
The data is usually only stored temporarily as i copy it back to the PC's after they've been cleaned out.
I was looking at a raid 1 external hdd but i've heard there's higher chance of corruption when copying the data over to 2 drives than if it was to a single drive.
Any advice would be welcome.
