Backwards compatible SSD's

Hey guys, looking to buy an SSD for my current spec (in sig) though as I feel an upgrade coming on in the near future I would like to be able to swap over the SSD and get 6gb/s on the new board.

What I am asking is are all drives backwards compatible or only the ones listed as being so?

My budget is around £100 -£120 for the drive so some suggestions would be great also!

They're all backwards compatible. At least they should be; old motherboard and firmware issues aside.
