"Wrong section"

I’m not sure if it’s worth upgrading at the moment. I’ve been told that prices for everything have become quite ridiculous. Originally, I was aiming to move to the AM5 platform last year, but I’m not sure the performance jump is there, even if prices were normal.

My current specs are:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X + Noctua U12S Heatsink
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair VI Hero (X370)
RAM: 32GB (my last upgrade)
Storage: samsung 1TB SSD NVME M.2 + 3TB & 4TB HDDs

The 'weak links' are:

GPU: Back to using my GeForce GTX Titan X
Monitor: 24" 1080p screen"

I'd look into 27" 1440p screencid you think extra pixels won't drop FPS too much

Have they also gone up in price? or am I ok with monitors ?

Can get a good 27" 180hz 1440 for about £200 va or IPS
Oled still expensive

Another thing is get a sound system headphones or speakers

I use Headphones at the moment, I did have speakers but it was disturbing other.

Do your homework when taking advice from hornet.

Upgrade your GPU, that'll be massive bottleneck. Deals pop up in the MM frequently. You don't need the latest and greatest, I just bought a 5060ti and it works fine at 1440p, if not stellar.

what are the prices like at the moment and what would you recommend ?
anything things would be a little better but I want a half decent upgdade for the price without spending too much. under £150 if possible.

Honestly I'm probably the last person who should be answering that question, you'll get much better advice in the GPU forum.

That being said, I just sold a 2070 Super with faulty fans for £50, the new owner tinkered a bit and got it working so there are definitely deals to be had if you look around. That card is 50% faster than your Titan X.

Just gotta be clever and strike as soon as you can.

Keep an eye on the MM if you have access.

Thanks, I think ill aim for a GPU and Monitor for now, Im think something a 2070 or better would be the best option for a decent upgrade. and monitor 27"-32" maybe a 1440p nice display.
any thoughts ?
