Badly dubbed adverts

Why is it so hard to make sure its all in sync?


It always seems to be adverts to do with cleaning products aswell.
 
It means they have universal adverts, change the dubbing depending on the country, nice and cheap, saves recording for every country. :)

Really annoying though, yes. :p
 
I often find I can tell the advert has been redubbed even without looking at it! The voices are always far too cheery and perfect, I think it was one for fabreeze that I noticed the other day. I'm guessing it was American but dubbed with Oh So Clear English voices. Awful.
 
I remember being told once that British English speakers react very badly to American adverts. Hence the dubbing.
 
When I see them I think - if they can't get the advert right what is their product going to be like... I am incredibly anal about things being in sync though
 
Even worse when they do whole programs like that, I was watching Yo Gabba Gabba this morning to see what all the fuss was about and the skinny DJ chap was definitely dubbed.
 
A lot of them are from Europe, especially all of the air freshener ones.
