Ken Tyrrell wasn't a fan of the blue flag rules either.

In general i would agree with that but, get to a circuit like Valencia,Singapore,Monaco where over-taking is tough enough anyway and i can see problems arising. Hopefully i will be proved wrong and todays crop of drivers deal with it but, i doubt it.

I was wondering how fast the cars are compared to last year now that they've got to carry a full tank of fuel.

Also, does anyone else hate the new on-screen graphics? They look so tacky and remind me of the horrible American ESPN ones!

Woah! The grid is filthy. I thought that Senna was having an engine failure for a second - but it was just all the crap coming off the grid.

For whatever reason, Mercedes, seem to be showing some real consistency on this track. Both their drivers have been amongst the fastest times in pretty much all the sessions. And Rosberg seems to be really fired up.

Nice to Alonso finally pushing to the limit.

TBH, I'm still not sure who has the fastest car on this track. My gut feeling is that Ferrari do.

Aggregate times for all the practice sessions so far.

Very few surprises. Overall Schumacher has been 0.165sec off Rosberg, so obviously he's been soundly beaten by miles (*sigh*). Button faster than Hamilton so far, figure Lewis will wait until qualifying before really going for it. I take it Chandok isn't actually going to make an appearance out on track this weekend, given that he hasn't yet gotten behind the wheel and qually is almost upon us? If he's going to take part in the race weekend, he's leaving it awfully late.
