Bahrain Grand Prix 2012, Sakhir - Race 4/20

Just a thought, with Parc Ferme rules, are Merc going to be able to fix Schumachers wing?

Although if they have to pull it out and start from the pitlane its not a massive drop, so they may well just do that.

I agree that McLaren have "overall", the best race car. But RBR have Vettel. The driver can make a difference.

Mclaren have Hamilton, Button and Ferrari have Alonso

I'd be amazed if there was really anything between those 4 in terms of ability in the same car - it would be so minimal

You are right, the driver does make a difference (see Massa vs. Alonso) but between those 4, it's more the car that makes it.

If Toro Rosso are running a season long 'interview' process for Webber's replacement, its looking like Vettel and Riciardo in RBR next year...

Well it's looking like Mclaren didn't get enough wins on the board and Red Bull are back. Button is really going to have to try to up his game on saturdays now or lewis could have 10 seconds on him by the time he gets track position.

Not a clue who will win this one, which is nice :D

McLaren apparently spent most of practice getting the softer tyre to work over a race stint. If hard is the way to go then it doesn't bode well for them.

Unless they succeeded and think that sticking with the softs is a benefit?

Who knows, it could be a masterstoke. (Not that they have a record of amazing tactical decisions.) :p

Obviously Vettel. He'll pull away from the start then we won't see him again until he passes the chequered flag at the end of the race, along with "Yes! That's what I'm talking about. Thank you boys! *sob, sob*" The rest of the race will consist of fights for P2 and 3 between McLaren and Webber.

If anything RBR's race pace this year has been more impressive than their qualifying pace, so I'm expecting them to be fully competitive tomorrow, rather than falling back as some others have suggested.

As much as I do like Vettel and am happy to see him on pole, I think the Mclarens have the pace to win this tomorrow!

I'll still be cheering for Vettel and Mark though :)
