Bahrain Grand Prix 2013, Sakhir - Race 4/19

We're in Tribune O, and paid just under £400 for each ticket. The whole weekend, excluding food, is costing us around £600 a head - just me and the other half.

That's not too bad actually.
I'd have thought that Monaco GP tickets + board would cost a fortune.
And of course, apart from the race, you will get to see plenty of "celebs" who turn up at the race with no interest in F1.

The other option was to get a same day fly-in fly-out deal. I've seen a few that start from around £800. They normally include lunch and are higher up on the circuit in some of the hotels. I don't really think you can see the race properly from those locations, plus the food will be **** and the whole day will be a rush. I quite like Nice, and the opportunity to have a decent meal the evening before and then a relaxed breakfast before moving on over to Monaco was too good to turn down.

The proof will be in the trip though - fingers' crossed!

I looked up the bit about Webber and Alonso both being together at Benetton but neither of them were? They've both been at Minardi but that is all I can see.

They were both managed by Flavio at Benetton, but they weren't really ever in the same team together.

Webber was Benetton test driver while Alonso went to develop his racing career at Minardi, then they swapped the following year, with Alonso becoming Benetton test driver.

I'm sure they spent a great deal of time together at Benetton in 2001 and 2002 though, just not on the track.
