By doing nothing? He got himself fairly into P2 through great driving. Vettel should have been in place to take over P1, but he dropped it and ruined his own race.

It is a real shame for Leclerc, I wanted him to win, but to say Hamilton hasn't earnt it is just bonkers.

I agree and I'm sure Toto must have him in his sights for a future contract. That would be serious competition for Lewis.

It's a bit simplistic to say that. This MGU-H failure is because of a gamble which gave them the pace advantage to begin with.

It's like driving in quali mode all race and being surprised when your engine blows.
