Tutu lets you use the res of BG2, so with Tutu and the BG2 expansion, it goes up to 1600x1200. It was flaky on my X1900XT IIRC.
However, the Widescreen mod works well (looked only at PS:T and BG2).

I never really got in to these. I always died too easily in BG1. I don't think I ever defeated this guy who you meet at the castle in the first town. I think he casts a spell and makes a mirror image of himself or something. Anyroad, I gave up after that. Quite tempted to give it another whirl now I'm older and wiser. LOL.
To be pedantic that was dual-classing wasn't it? And only available to Humans. Non-Human races could multi-class, where you were say a level 3 Fighter/Rogue and as you gained XP you advanced in both classes. With dual-classing you only advanced in one class but had the abilities of the old one (once you got past that level).

Same people that made baldurs gate, post nuclear war, rpg, isometric, turn based (only in combat) really good for dark humour, it's in futuristic 50's style so every thing is the old tube electronics, mutants etc. very good storey line, you can complete both games without really killing any one, if you make a smart talking character etc.

Still a known issue with save games when leaving Beregost but there is a save game fixer available though I've not used it. The Tutu readme suggests a workaround.

Hmm i had a very good talking haracter with heavy weapons.
Once you get power armor you can give them busrt weapons tho be carefull.
Where is this? Disregard if it's a competitor of course.
Went to town today and picked up NW platinum which comes with the two expansion packs. So far really good, infact its got a better camera than NW2 but i heard they fixed it in the NW2 expansion.

Playing NW1, ive started it today and its brilliant. Ive done the tutorial, completed beggars nest, and the penensilia district that leaves me with the black market district and the docks Such a great game hopefully be spending some more time on it tomorrow. So far im lvl 5 fighter, seems good enough.

The zombies hit you with disease that does initial damage to either strength dex or con and after some 'incubation' period does another few points of stat damage. It never wears off, but it's still reversible. Go to a temple or drink a restoration potion (expensive at that stage). Actually, just use the stone of recall and talk to the healer at HQ, should sort you out.
Theres a variety of charms that give you immunity to those attacks or use a healer for your companion.
Why did you write 'like' between 'since' and 'lvl'?
Anyway. You need a potion or scroll (if your an arcane caster) of lesser restoration, this should get rid of it.

The BG games are the best games Bioware have ever made. The art style they choose really future proofed the game with regards to aging.
NW1- im just starting Act2 and what can i say, this is got to be the best rpg ive ever played. I think i prefer it to NW2 (even though i only got to act 3) and thats saying something.
My copy of NW2 Mask Of The Betrayer turned up yesturday, along with Icewind Dale Chronicles, the rest should arrive in the next couple days.
Im gonna play them in this order i think:
NW1 and the two expansion packs
NW2 and of course the expansion pack
BG1,2 and there expansions
Icewind Dale 1 and 2 and expansions
Fallout 1,2 and tactics
So i think that will last me until im ready to leave home to my new job

The Gibberlings forum is the best place to ask- I've read about people using both but I'm unsure of any side effects.
