Baldurs Gate - Steam & New Version Thread

Going to wait for reports on the Ipad version and probably get it on that. It'd be a perfect travel game.
 
Can't say I'm particularly looking forward to this, tbh.

Original was a classic, all the "extra content" could just dilute it, and might not be up to the standards the original set.

HD graphics is a welcome change, but I'm apprehensive about tinkering with the plot and characters. These are a large part of the game's appeal.
 
Don't think I'll bother tbh. Would have bought it if the graphics were brought up to date but pretty much all they are offering can already be done for free with user mods that have been out for years. Also, no thank you to dlc.

I'll stick to the originals and look forward to project eternity instead.

Might buy it when its a fiver :p
 
Got this preloaded. Itching to play; getting a LAN party at my house this weekend with beers. Going to relive the good ole days :p
