Bull, Bayern won the champs league, Ronaldo won his country qualification to the world cup, flat out, Ronaldo did. Ribery got 1 goal and 2 assists to winning the UCL, the title was a given, Ribery wasn't the best player in the team, if anything Robben/Muller were the most consistent performers in the run getting to the final.

Portugal would not be in the world cup if it weren't for Ronaldo, Bayern would have won the treble without Ribery.

I don't agree at all. I say again, it isn't about a team, but an individual. As an individual Ronaldo is infinitely better than Ribery. Ribery didn't carry Bayern's team, he was merely a part of it.

That's hardly relevant though, is it? You have no good reasons for Ribery to win it aside from the fact his teammates are better?

It's an individual achievement. Neither the Bundesliga or La Liga are particularly strong throughout.

Wasn't trying to make a point.

Ribery is my personal favorite to win. That is my opinion. I think he has been the better player in 2013.

We will see who wins it tonight. ;)

Without the ban and all the hatred towards him Suarez would have been in for a chance looking at stats.

Ronaldo will win it imo and rightly so.
 
Not Ribery, I'll never remember his 2013 either, I'll remember Bayerns.

When you watch Bayern, Ribery doesn't even stand out in comparison to the rest of the team but Ronaldo and Messi are completely different level.

I find it bizarre people actually think Ribery should win this over Ronaldo, it's an individual award and he's nowhere near as good individually...?
