US: Banshee (season 4)

Brilliant show. Quite out there on its own I guess it terms of what else is similar. Presumed you have watched Sons of anarchy? Which has plenty of drama and grit
 
Yeah did sons of anarchy ages ago thanks, after banshee I watched Strike back, which is a bit of an odd one.

Season 1 is excellent.
Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5 are entertaining, has some great moments and good cameos but is more action based and not quite to the same standard.
Season 6,7,8 have a new cast, lower budget and is still semi entertaining, but it's not good, still worth a watch though.
 
Just finished the last few seasons of Strike Back. They were fine, not as good as previous seasons. Novin was far too annoying!

So now I think I'm going to rewatch Banshee. I loved it the first time around.
 
Rewatching bosch slowly then will prob swing back to banshee again while I was for season 2 of the boys!

Yeah shame on strike back, the first reboot was a lot of fun

For more Antony Starr (Hood) check out The Boys, another absolutely phenomenal show.

In terms of raw violence, the only show to remotely come close has been Gangs Of London.

Seen the boys twice, I loved it, that's what led me to banshee actually.

Gangs was excellent aswell.

Need more shows to that standard.
 
Into The Badlands is also worth a watch. Not on the same level as Banshee but the fight choreography is right up there.
The Widow is easily the best character in the show. Some of her fight scenes are insane.
