US: Banshee series 3

It would be a shame if season 4 will be the last, but all good things must come to a close at some point.

However, this show is the one out of all the ones I watch that I really look forward to on a weekly basis and has filled the gap that Spartacus left.

I think ex neo nazi chap could be an interesting addition to the group.

Can see him joining the Hood/Job/Sugar crime ring.

It wouldn't suprise me if that neo nazi guy has a hidden agenda that could be more of Hood's past that is coming back to haunt him.

Great ending to the latest episode I thought - very well done indeed.

But...

Sheriff Hood (in uniform) walks up to the fake Sheriff Hood to thank him outside the petrol station, so presumably the real Hood is on duty. Then the Deputy he falls in love with is stood filling her car up also in uniform and on duty. How could she not know that the fake Hood wasn't the real Sheriff? If she is on duty at the same time as the Sheriff how is it that the didn't meet? Seems like a continuity error to me...

it was a what if the real Hood hadn't died in the first episode and themanwithnoname hadn't taken his identity wishful thinking dream

The action has been great, but the writing has been terrible this season. Firstly they kill off the hottest woman before having any kind of character progression (seemed like there was supposed to be something building up with her being rescued by Chayton from being a drug addict). Then they kill off Siobhan in such a lame way (and don't kill Hood, just hit him on the head??). Then we have the soap opera-like contrivance of Brock's wife suddenly becoming a couple with Proctor.

Some massive, tattoo covered guy shows up in the woman's barn and threatens her, then when he passes out, instead of immediately calling the cops, she helps him? This is unlikely by itself, but when you throw in the fact that she would know that a gang of native Americans just shot up the police station, she would guess this guy was one of them. Also highly likely that she would have seen his picture in the paper as the leader of the gang. He was seemingly unaffected by the gunshot wound too, aside from fainting. No problem using the arm to skewer the neighbour with the pitchfork.

The heist was cool apart from Hood's sudden development of hallucinations when he's not on any drugs. And there was the lone guard who engages in hand to hand combat instead of radioing for help. The guy in charge was ridiculous though, survived so much stuff, he was like a terminator.

The daughter is annoying as hell too, it's Homeland and 24 all over again with the contrived trouble she gets in.

I know it's just a TV show, but come on, previous seasons were way better.

I want to see a fight between Chayton and that military dude .

FutileBreadMachine, some good points made there and i agree with most. On the whole i love the show though, despite its faults.

Yeah I still like the show, but they can do much better, as they've shown before. This is actually the only show I watch at the moment apart from Better Call Saul.
