US: Banshee series 3

dimple ur completely wrong about the end scenes :D ive watched every end scene in every episode and they add that little bit more..

its nowhere near "ON NEXT WEEKS SHOW" kinda scene. its basically a 3 second extended clip of scene that happened in that episode!

I was talking about series in general, not Banshee.
Just watched The Walking Dead > "Stay Tuned For Scenes From ........." > OFF

I was disappointed how they went with Chayton's character. I thought he was going to be an interesting bad guy with a cause, who you could respect. The had him going on about helping his people, and the had the scenes with him carrying his brother's body and rescuing Nola from the drug den. Then he just ended up being a generic psycho bad guy. His ending speech didn't even make any sense - he said he was a warrior with a spiritual calling and then straight away starts talking about killing a woman like a psycho.

The chase scene was ridiculous, it was like they ran into an episode of The Walking Dead with deserted streets and Hood had Hirshel's unlimited ammo shotgun.

Chayton never found out about Nola's death either, so I don't know why they bothered showing him rescuing her from the drug den. Maybe they were going to do more but then the actress found some other job so they quickly wrote her out.

I didn't get why Rebecca said Kai would have to choose between her and Burton. Surely Burton is just going to say "Hey Kai, BTW your niece is selling drugs to the Salvadoreans." and Kai will have to deal with it. Seems like some made up drama there.

Why is Job staying in town? They stole a load of money, surely he should have disappeared? His loyalty to Hood is a bit unrealistic, since he hasn't gotten anything out of their supposed friendship. He just keeps helping Hood and complaining about everything and he never gets any money out of their heists until now.

yeah i loved big indian as i called him :D

think he did go a bit easy and could have been more interesting.

sometimes the plot for for coming shows over shadows decent people.

Yeah i thought that too, especially as Nola had a rather epic fight scene with Burton, thought they'd of made it more violent.

yeah cant see how hood would have took him tbh hand to hand. still think its bs the way he strangled him previously.

i have a feeling kai is going to get done by the pretty.

Yeah when they were fighting in the underground, i knew chayton would kill him, he would have killed him the way he did siobhan i think!

Love this show just watched whole current season back to back.... forget half there names sometimes but you know what its good to zone out and just enjoy a show.

I guess with that big hulking Indian guy or chayton it would have made sense to draw out such a good character with bit more purpose but he was always the big baddie I think he came and went in the right manner and timing.

I hate to say it but i think they need to end it next season. Come up with an awesome 1 season storyline that allows them the brutality the show is known for to shine and end it on a high note.

I'm still really enjoying it just now but if they carry it on past 4 or 5 seasons i can see me being numbed.

Yup only so much a show can do rather see it end on a high note.

Only a matter of bad guys they can drum up

Well episode 9 looks to have set up a hell of a season final.

Can see it being split with proctor looking for revenge and Hood getting the team back.

Just a shame season are not longer as going 10 and a half months with out banshee will seem like torture :-)

Superb ep.

I can even excuse the lack of nudity since Job's backstory bit with his dreads/beads/plats? made up for it in hilarity value :D, that hair :D

The ex-brotherhood fella seems to be getting more air time, so maybe a key part in the finale or setting him up for the next season?

did we ever find out what Hood's real name was? Can't remember if you did in other seasons, or is that a 'thing' now as with nearly every ep it comes up.

Yeah what an awesome ep the final ep will be insane once again.

I think there is only so much they can do I hope season 4 or they do a tv movie to wrap it all up would be awesome, good tv series should finish while at its peak I reckon.
