scorza said:I also hate the current implementation of "yuman rites" law in this country, however I'm pretty certain that no matter what you've done, or conspired to do, you should not be subjected to attacks like this. I really hope the government wakes up and realises that they can't house Islamic extremist criminals with ordinary criminals, they must be segregated in a separate prison.
I'm no prisons expert but I imagine lots of people get beaten up for various reasons, it doesn't necessarily mean they are especially deserving of it.Moses99p said:its the complete scum of scum that get beaten up in prisons. Don't have a massive problem with it.
I agree with this stance. The punishment is being in prison. We are a civilised people and two wrongs don't make a right.scorza said:I don't see that I'm defending him, I just don't think that it was right that he was attacked in prison.

A lot of people would exact more punishment on people for lots of crimes, not just terrorism. It isn't up to the mob to decide though; as I said, we are a civilised people where the rule of the mob does not make the law.iCraig said:Yeah but the problem is that people don't think imprisonment is a good enough punishment for a terrorist who was planning to inflict multiple instances of death, destruction and misery on hundreds of innocent people.

Morally you are quite right. But i cant help but think that it is improving the prospect of prison as a deterrent to crime after it has been tainted as a cushy, easy place to go.dirtydog said:I agree with this stance. ArmyofHarmony said:To be fair, this is England, not some dodgy American prison and stuff like this shouldn't be happening (even though it's deserved)
I'm aware of soap in a sock.. just p9 batteries?? :SMoses99p said:put batteries in a sock, hold the end and swing it. It'll hurt whoever you hit.
Full Metal Jacket -- soap in a sock.
Fraggr said:I hate terrorists as much as the majority of Brits, but burning him with pork fat? That's taking it too far, he's already in for a minimum of 40 years iirc. We are civilised, and things like that shouldn't be allowed to happen under our noses in government prisons. Thankfully you are not in charge.
