[Basketball]Playoffs just started.

i think we'll sneak 1 game in LA and the last at home for a series win in 6.

for me pierce has really come into his element, he's always been a great all-star calibre player but with the right pieces around him he's now 'the man' and if we win the series his 'rocky' in game 1 will be the stuff of legends.

can't wait for tuesday night to see how the lakers react.

biggest comeback in playoff history - ray allen with a 'jordan-esque' baseline drive with 2 mins to go.

Aarrrgh. What happened to the Lakers? They ripped Celtic apart in the first half. Great comeback by Boston. Game over I'm afraid.

Currently in New York immensely enjoying to watch NBA finals on Espn/ABC, sipping on lagers at the Sports Bars. :)
 
Don't usually watch basketball but i couldn't turn off last nights game. What an amazing comeback by the Celtic's and tbh i'm cheering them on now after that.

to be honest i had the game on delay after the 1st qtr because i was so bummed out - looked like it might be a blowout in the making ......but decided to pick it up again and i had a feeling half way through the second it was game on again even though we were down pretty big still.

eddie house/posey played huge down the stretch as did pierce on D again - huge block on Kobe.

pierce has done a great job on kobe so far - as has the whole team.

when we lock it down like the 3rd/4th qrtr last night no-one is beating Boston, it's an onslaught at both ends.
 
put a fork in game 6 ....it's done - the only thing we don't know is the final score.

shocking effort from the lakers, even though we're playing great LA just don't seem to care......Kobe just sat in the background whilst the lead blewout to 30.

Rondo playing a blinder, defintely the player of the match....but 'the truth' for MVP :p
 
The energy was with the home team, they did what I expected. The lakers crumbled on D in more games than the Celtics crumbled on O which is why they needed the big 3.

Next season will be very interesting but wont beat this fairy tale.
 
Good times, I'm pleased KG finally got a ring. Haven't seen much of the series to be honest, but Celtics were playing proper D I heard, brilliant stuff.

Congrats to the Celtics.
