Live on Motors TV which is now on Freeview as a proper channel not just a data feed. Get some beers, some pizza and your best underpants and settle in for the long haul.

I did Bathurst and F1 back to back last year, although I may had had a quick nap during the safety car at one point.

Having just checked Motors TV is only available on Freeview HD, even though it's broadcast in SD and in slightly ropey quality at that. Standard Freeview won't pick it up.

Main telly does. Also has Sky so I can get it twice. Unfortunately the bedroom telly doesn't.

I'll probably stream it again, the quality is better!

If you're hardcore you can do NASCAR, Bathurst, WEC and BTCC for about 22 hours of continuous live Motorsport if you want.

Then watch the F1.

I've got Monday off work and nothing else to do this weekend so will see how well I do! Just caught up with Petit Le Mans from last weekend and the f1 qually so that's my warm up done.

I think I grabbed a couple of hours kip, then did the BTCC. Finally expired about 9pm, and slept for a long time!

Unfortunately they moved the F1 race so'll probably grab a few hours kip, watch the BTCC.

Actually I won't watch it after all as despite it showing in my channel list the Youview set top box isn't compatible with the broadcast. Rubbish.

Might be worth a retune?

MotorsTV was on something like channel 230 using some trick where it streamed via the internet. This worked on a handful of new Panasonic/Samsung TVs and that was it. Most people got a Sorry, no worky message. It moved to channel 71 a couple of days ago for HD receivers and is now broadcast properly.

Yea I had it on my Samsung TV in the Lounge on the Internet Data feed and also noticed last night it's now a normal channel.

I've tried retuning the Youview box, it picks up the channel but says the device is not compatible.

I've tried it through the aerial socket on the television (which has built in Freeview) but it doesn't work on that either.

BT Sport HD 2 for all you sky people. Lovely HD feed! I'll be trying to stay up but will no doubt make it to 1 or 2 and nod off!

Gonna be a good race with the grid as it is, and the weather is apparently pretty poor in the area, shame Tander won't be racing after his massive off in practise!
