*Batman: Arkham Asylum*

You mean beneath the gargoyles above the elevator door? Yea... and exactly how do i reach them lol?

Is there also any way to replay what has been stated to complete my objectives? or is it 1 liners in the menu all the way through the game?

Really am no enjoying this... will prob play for another hour, if it doesnt pick up, will defo be selling this

I've just finished off the predator challenges, got all 24 medals. Fairly easy really once you figure out a good route to take.
Now just got to try and do these combat challenges. :(

Well, I just defeated bane, turned off now as I have work, still not sure on this game...

Everything seems to be so dependent on these damn vents.

Wow, bloody awful so far, fighting is repetitive, no save points, only checkpoints (which are not often enough), camera is too close to batman when walking around, the map and objectives are useless, this game has made me waste several hours wondering around looking for vents...

I'm currently in the labs after just saving the female and male doc (hardly a spoiler) and am now sick of looking around, I have no ****** clue what to do, everything is so vague??? Is this what people call free roaming these days? So if i cant go into the elevator to follow the smoke trails from some guy then now what? ARGH. This game is so crap its unreal... fanboi game and nothing more. waste of ****** 40 quid

Atrocious.

How are you having issues finding where to go? I didn't get stuck once, it's not hard at all.

It's just user error on your part, I'm glad they didn't make it easier than it already is just to please numptys.

This is possibly one of the best games i've played on the 360! It also helps im a batman fan! It makes you feel like you are batman!
Top quality game!

*Possible spoiler*

I seriously thought that my xbox broke about 3/4 the way through the game when it crashes and restarts with the opening credits with the joker bringing batman into the asylum! Does anyone know what happens if you dodge the jokers gun? I hope all that makes sense! And I hope the colour is right to hide this part of the thread enough!

Wow, bloody awful so far

Yeah.... I don't think much of it myself. Only 28% of the way in but I find it quiet a chore to play through. Seems to be mostly enter room->beat up bad guys->find and open vent->crawl into new room then rinse and repeat.

the Riddler puzzles are easy and pointless too as they only really help get XP for upgrades, but those aren't exactly amazing either.

There just isn't much incentive to keep playing. It started off great but fairly quickly descended into repetetiveness.

I'll keep at it I guess..

I dont get this post? If you think playing the game is a chore why would you want to carry on playing?
I bought that Callof Juarez: Bound in Blood and thought it was rubbish so I got rid instead of continuing to waste my time on something I didnt like?

Saying that though I have a Wigan Ath season ticket and seem to be wasting my time and money on keep going back to the JJB ha ha ha!

This. The only times I got really stuck was because I didn't look around enough to find out where I should be going. Like Dr Young's office, took me a while before I figured that out, mainly as it was gone midnight when I was playing it.

i'm suprised people are finding it difficult on where to go during the levels, if you listen to what is said, and read carefully, it isnt that hard at all. I don't think I ever got lost or stuck as to where to go.

I'm not even a fan of batman stuff, but I'm loving the game, although I'm right near the final fight now. I've loved thinking of different ways to take a room full of guys down without being seen. I also love the combat, and occasionally try to take on 6 - 8 guys in hand to hand and try not to get hit, its quite rewarding.

However I don't think it has much replay value once you have completed it 100%, but the experience getting there is brilliant

I loved that bit, it's things like that in a game that really set them apart from other games. Completely unnecessary but makes the experience so much more than the sum of its parts.

MORE SPOILER :
Did you notice the instruction on how to avoid being shot? Do you have one of the new controllers with the third thumbstick ;)

Well I didnt see anything I was too busy watching Joker etc then I got shot and it went to the black screen and said something about dodging the bullet? but I couldnt try again because it went to the scarecrow level? Did I miss something with you saying 3rd thumbstick? ha ha!

Awesome game :)

Just finished it now and whilst the last battle was a bit of a let down the rest of the game was good fun. Managed to find 190 riddles and fully upgrade all the equipment. Might go back later and try to finish the riddles. They got the atmosphere and the lay out of the map spot on. Game of the year so far.

Decided to get this on the xbrick in the end - damn pleased I did, having a lot of fun. Haven't got very far but the nI've only played it for about two hours. The only thing I have issues with is the lack of proper interaction with the environment eg no health etc hidden in lockers. But then I suppose it's not really an RPG. Haven't got stuck yet as the detective mode pretty much makes it simple to avoid mistakes. Good game.

Just escaped the asylum so not that far through, little worrying that there's been 2 or 3 Riddlers trophies I haven't managed to get for one reason or another thus far, can those who have completed the game assure me that later in the game you retrace your previous steps? (1 I couldn't get due to an electric fence and another was because a wall needed blowing up)

When you finish the game, you can choose continue and are free to explore the whole asylum, with no enemies.

I'm stuck. :(

SPOILER ALERT....MAYBE

When trying to shut down the pumps to stop the flow of Titan into the sewers. Where do I shut down the pumps? Cleared the west room of baddies but can't find anything. About to head to the east room.
