Same here. I loved the first two Batman games but I don't like it when a series is handed off to another developer, as I'm always worried they will screw something up. Assuming it gets good reviews, I'll probably pick it up.

I doubt it tbh, I'm sure we would've heard if it were coming to next gen. Only the absolute biggest games like GTA have a reason to hide that, so that the news doesn't damage current gen sales at all (as they know people will double dip with GTA whereas they probably wouldn't with Batman).
 
That's a reassuring video, looks like they've not tinkered with much - hugely looking forward to this... but it will have to wait as I already have too many games I still have yet to finish!! Gutted :(
 
I quite liked what I saw from the video we got yesterday - More of the same but that is not a bad thing in my eyes I enjoyed Arkham City (which I only played last month) I wont be buying this one day one :)
 
Whats the pre-order DLC bundles for this? Not sure if Im tempted or not - Im always quite weak when it comes to getting games at release (and then not playing them)

I'm a little concerned that the release date for this is Friday and that the reviews are embargoed to the same day. That doesn't usually bode well, as surely they would want the reviews out early if the game is great, so it encourages more people to buy it. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this'll fall short of the previous games in the series.
 
I've started this game and whilst i'm only an hour or so in, it is pretty much more of the same. The biggest issue i'm having is the guy who did Ezio is voicing batman and I keep expecting batman to breakout with a dodgy Italian accent :D
 
One thing I can say after playing for only 10 minutes today it has some stupid glitches. twice it's stop responding. I can pause it and check my stats but I was unable to move or do anything else.
 
Don't think I will bother with this unless it turns out amazing. AA was a great game but I felt AC was a chore to do everything and it took the fun out of the game for me, the riddles are becoming tiresome now.
 
I watched a review on The Blurb tv show and they said it was excellent, just fell short of Arkham City.

The new detective mode where you can reconstruct an incident is meant to be great, combat is just as good.

Bummer Tesco didnt deliver my order today though, need to wait until tomorrow.
 
Bought this at lunchtime. Five hours play later and I am hooked. Has the same mechanics and control system as the previous Games and is set in Gotham City itself. Storyline so far not as good as Asylum, but not bad.
