Batman: Arkham Shadow (META QUEST 3 only)


I've been keeping away from watching anything on this... But watching this gives me serious Arkham vibes. If there's a sandbox mode, with the challenges like the other games,I think this is a must buy.
 
The old Batman VR experience was great in a limited sort of way - you got to see the Batman world up close and it was really immersive. If this is closer to the full 2D games then that'll be amazing.

1.11 in that video just gives me such strong arkham asylum vibes, it's s exciting. I loved that game, building combat multipliers, doing the stealth rooms, the story, the 4th wall break was insane. One of those games that just leaves a real mark (like mass effect and dragon age origins for me).
 
Discussing this over mini golf on the social evening, it did run on the xbox 360 and ps3, which are vastly less powerful machines, 10x less powerful etc. Yes the Q3 needs to get the FPS and resolution up a lot, but even so, that's encouraging!
 
It's not just the usual vr reviewers singing it's praises, a load of Arkham series YouTubers reckon it's awesome too, as you can imagine they weren't too enthusiastic about it when it was first announced either, nice to see them convinced.

Think this might be a day 1 purchase for me.
