*** Battlefield 1 ***

I have the upgraded medic sharpshooter rifle. It's got some nice zoom on but seems to do hardly any damage. Also, upgraded the medic packs to the big crate but what with people rarely staying in one place for long it seems a bit useless. Conquest just seems to be doing laps. Need more defence incentive.
 
also, will the full version feature a realism / hardcore mode. I'm fed up of shooting someone 15 times with an smg only for them to turn around and headshot me.

In the customize loadout there are different versions of the rifles, some with full on scopes, others with a little zoom and one with just plain iron sights.
 
When I'm flying a plane and change weapon it also changes my camera back to the cockpit view - how do I stop this?

It's really annoying when I keep having to flick back to the 3rd person view every time I change the dam weapon, it starts to get confusing after a while.
 
Really enjoyed the beta. People seem to forget that the weapons and vehicles are supposed to be clunky and awkward - it is set in WW1 after all.

Took some getting used to but soon got he hang of it. Key to rush as ever is to destroy the tanks asap otherwise they can just obliterate you. As with bad company it seems to really lend itself to teamwork and coordination which I've always loved about these games.

Plus you can blow the crap out of buildings!
 
So I'm a rank 4 medic now and can't really see much point in upgrading so far. Gone for sharpshooter and pickaxe upgrade but nothing else seems worth it. The revive and heal seems too important to drop.
 
I thought there were rumours of a new map before the beta ended?

I'm hoping it's just the map in the beta that is so bad because if it was all like that it would be terrible. I can see the potential on smaller, better maps but as it stands at the moment its very, very boring and most games are just a camping match for snippers.

Yeah I'm not sure on this map either but because it's a bit too brown!

What's everyone using for FOV setting?

I'm liking it more the second time I've played it and that included getting a few easy kills with a horse :D

Will need to see more maps to make a final decision though.

Also medics don't seem to do anything.
