I really hope the maps are better than this. I don't mind a snipey map but I enjoy the CQC maps. Hopefully there will be some?

I think the beta is adequate at best and I'm trying to convince myself that in the full game there will be a better choice of maps to suit different play styles. Obviously more gun choice, game modes etc will help as well.

Horses are the worst thing about this game, they should remove them completely and replace with some sort of low armoured vehicle.

Or at least make the horses go down with 1-2 bullets, there built like tanks currently, can put a whole clip into them without effect.

They make for a bit of variation I don't mind that but seemed a bit odd in terms of damage - definitely needs significant tweaking.

Well at the moment it's a sniping camp fest, it's like they released this map specifically to appeal to them. Conquest seems to be the worst for this, they're just at the end of the map spending the entire time there. I like to snipe, but not to sit 1000 metres away from the action the entire game and taking pot shots.

Hate to say it but infinite warfare looks better.

I actually quite like the amount of people sniping in this, the vast majority of them just sit in the same place = free spading.

I prefer moving around and going for the objectives. But when there are vehicles that seem difficult to destroy, snipers 1km a way etc. it does make the map a bit rubbish for this style of gameplay. I've sniped and can go massively positive every game. Needless to say we lose those games lol...
 
Played several rounds with my friend this morning. Looks great, runs really well, technologically it's a massive improvement over BF4. The map is rubbish though and it feels like we were constantly being dominated by the enemy having access to multiple tanks at once with no effective way of dealing with them without getting up close.

Still, I think we're both sold on it.
 
I quite like the map, for both game modes. I don't normally like big open ones like this, but perhaps it's just because I'm loving the game overall that I don't mind it.

Day 1 buy for me, I'm actually doing quite well on it which is rare for a shooter on console for me.

You're concerned about the number of people sniping so by that logic you think an infinity ward COD is going to be better ? the developer that loves quickscopers ? the game that has massive hit boxes and aim assist for snipers meaning you can get one hit kills 2 foot to the left of somebodys foot ?

Yeah. Right.

Don't get me wrong, I know this game has its faults. But don't be ridiculous.
 
Just picked up the MG at F. Jesus I went on a great killing spree just wandering around C grinning all the while. Amazing fun.

Anyway yeah. I'm sold on this, too. Can't wait to see the other maps.

No I mean in terms of more close quarter action and snipers who actually move around the map. This beta map seems to be deliberately catered for the type of person who loves to sit at the back of the map the entire game.
 
why would anybody want snipers to be running around the map quickscoping everywhere ? its like aids combined with gonorrhoea. No thanks.
 
Snipers just need to be removed from FPS games completely. If 5% of the sniping population actually cap a flag it's a lot.

No not running around quick scoping but actually contributing to the objective, you can snipe and be effective without running around quick scoping.
