*** Battlefield 1 ***

of course. That's the nature of all these things. Ultimately, no matter how bad a game is, if you have friends who are committed to playing it, you may end up buying it anyway.

Crikey, not me. I would never spend money on something that I dont enjoy, dont care how many friends play it, my time is limited not going to spend it playing something I dont find fun !

If they don't change the gunplay completely I don't see this game lasting more than a couple of months. Everything else I can deal with.

They should definitely learn from other games set in this time period, Verdun is a great game set in World War 1.

Unfortunately, the most likely scenario is that they will aim to keep the shooting mechanics as casual as possible to appeal to the Call of Duty players.

This seems like it's going to have the similar amount of team play as the others, completely depends of the luck of the draw. I was lucky last night and got a great team with the majority of us in the top 6. I played BF4 the other day and this was seemingly no team work at all, just players running off to random flags.

Another thing I would like to see them change, squad hopping. Would prefer it if once you pick a squad you are locked into that squad for the duration of the round. Its too easy at the moment to hop squad and spawn somewhere different

I would only like to see that on the basis you've successfully joined with players in your platoon!

I haven't played it, so my comments are based on what i've read in this thread, but the shooting i've heard described, with accuracy growing gradually as you expend a magazine, is the opposite of casual... it takes more skill to know when your peak accuracy will be with each weapon and keep it trained on target.

We've had the "ring spread" (not sure what the real name is) system of accuracy for a good 18 years now (first time i remember it is from Rainbow 6 in 98). Maybe it's time to try something new.

lol none of my keybinds work in vehicles - nothing except to switch seats once and then after that I can't change seats again - can't exit, can't start or move the vehicle, can press the horn once and then that stops working as well.

Seems to run well enough - over 80fps with ultra settings but gameplay seemed a bit of a step backwards from BF4 and despite getting a lot of indicated hits didn't seem to be doing much damage - so like other frostbite based games I've got some weird "netcode" issue with this one to :| (also like their other games that same problem in that one high latency player can make the whole game feel mushy and horrid).

My one and biggest gripe, turret speeds of tanks. It's INSANE! Why can it twitch insanely fast? It's ruining the game for me and it's the only thing stopping me ordering it.

Really annoyed me in BF4 and it's annoying me even more so as tanks were NOT that fast by a long stretch.

What happens when the rest of the squad turn out to be a bunch of morons? Tough it up and just have a **** round?

Well I would be happy with that, a bad round imo outweighs people being able to spawn all over the place. Take that last round that I've just finished, I was able to hold 2 flags during that match purely because I was able to swap squads so that I could spawn closer to the flag. In my opinion and its only my opinion, it makes the respawning a little too flexible, in effect, instead of say 7 available respawn points , I have 30 available respawn points because I can jump to any squad and respawn on any member in that squad. Just me though and its not a gamebreaker, just something I would be interested to try differently and see what the impact is.

I have played 3-4 hours worth and all my classes are level 0

Cant unlock anything atm until its fixed

I'm not sure what I am doing to get mine unlocked, I just unlocked rank 3 on my medic (havent changed server or anything) , oh and I have to say the 3rd rifle on the medic is awesome.

I was trying to get in to it but squad spawn simply ruins the game imo.

Guy just randomly spawns in right behind me and kills me you cannot account for this garbage system, yes squad spawn has completely killed any desire I have to play this I am out.

P.s this is a good overclock stability tester I was stable on everything but this l kept hard locking ive upped vcore and lowered fsb a bit and its stable.

This beta will find an unstable overclock FAST

Some of my light tank shenanigans from last night, the howitzer variant is deadly..which is just as well as my sensitivity on the mg was messed up so could barely hit anything with it :p

My death was quite spectacular, left a grand canyon sized crater  Thats around 14 mins in.
