*** Battlefield 1 ***

Why would kills count towards the conquest score? Was this in previous battlefields?

Because everytime you get a kill it knocks 1 off the enemy team.
This means pilots etc can have an impact on a match if they are good.
Also if a medic revives a teammate you DONT lose a point and again makes team play and medics worth their weight in gold.

Was a big mistake in beta but now fixed like every BF game

yeh good news, still won't buy it though. Atleast not on release.

I'm also not surprised by the medic stats.

As a medic player it frustrated me that
a) My weapons were crap
b) I couldn't see players who needed reviving as they changed the revive mechanics
c) I couldn't play aggressively pushing for objectives with my team during infantry combat because of point (a).

As Gerard said, and as per the link in my post above. The stats were wrong, someone messed up the graphic. :)

Good about the CQ changes too, ticket bleed is what BF CQ is all about.

The Selbstlader M1916 Sharpshooter was a decent gun. :)

I wonder how they will do it in BF1, as the tickets count up not down. Will a kill add +1 ticket to your teams score, or will it -1 ticket off the enemies score. I would prefer the latter but I'm guessing it will be the former

They may hope they sort out the light tanks then if kills count for ticket bleed, was getting bored of doing 50-0 runs :p

We've also learned through the Beta that you guys need more tools to deal with vehicles earlier, which we'll definitely look into (including a Gadget for the Support class which should help neutralize powerful vehicles).

This is also good news.

Yes after you unlocked some weapons they were better than terrible. :p

However during the beta the rank system was buggered and maybe that caused me to be biased towards the class.

I'm just not used to playing as medic and having a weapon that belongs in a sniper role. In BC2 medics had LMGs, BF3 they had assault rifles, BF4 pretty much everything and now in BF1 a DMR.

In previous games the medic was strong, they could push objectives, kill quickly and revive players easily. I could not play like that in the beta, maybe it was intentional that medics play a support non frontlines role, is that authentic to the World Wars?
