Thats not a way I look at it myself, it can be taken too far. One could equally say of past BF games, try and find a human who can get shot in the head and then respawn intact, or try and find a human who can get blown up by a direct hit from a tank shell and then have someone use a defibrillator and return him to full health and physical intactness, or try and find a human who can run around on the field of battle with an endless number of large ammo boxes and multiple weapons. The realism argument just falls over in 99% of games.
You can play hardcore in some games of course, with 1 or 2 bullet kills, permadeath and strict weight limits etc, but I just dont find those games fun and its fun and mucking about that I'm looking for, if I wanted a realistic experience I'd join the army (well, I wouldnt cause I'm too old but you know what I mean), its just a game and thats all I want it to be, something I can muck about on for the odd hour here and there and have a laugh and log off to do more important stuff with a smile on my face. Different strokes and all that though.
