*** Battlefield 1 ***

Some weird sound bugs in the game, you can be in the middle of nowhere and hear sounds like someone was knifed right beside you.. Bloody freaky when it happens

Yup, that is my single biggest complaint in the game. It did it all through the beta too. I use audio "spotting" a lot and it really impacts my game negatively when it does this in BF1.

As an example, a few days ago I was running toward a position off the beaten track and I could hear someone taking single potshots at me from directly to my right. So I turn and scour the area to the right to see if I can find him, and get shot from the left instead. The positional audio was just messed up and was playing the shots the guy on the left of me was taking from the right speaker instead.

Often get it with horses too, you hear someone behind you on horseback, turn around and theres nobody there, then way off in the distance in a totally different direction you see the guy on horseback ( then get shot by someone else because youve stopped and turned around to face off against the nonexistant horseman)

Is there a trick to getting frame rate to display in game. It seems I cant get it to display with MSI afterburner I cant get it to display with Steam, and even using the cfg method it just randomly turns off.

Not got the game yet so cant try for myself but in bf4 you could open the console and type :

perfoverlay.drawfps 1

might work for you
