*** Battlefield 1 ***

How has everyone purchased this, from Origin or cdkeys etc?

I had some issues with BF4 through cdkeys before and don't want the hassle again if there is any!

cdkeys, keep in mind the price has slowly climbed leading to release so its not quite as good a deal as it was but still a saving of £10+ over origin

Cdkeys imo there the best and only trustworthy keys items worth using

I bought my BF1 from cdkeys with no problems

Cheers guys, cdkeys it is then. I'm all for saving a few quid.

May have to upgrade the 7950 at some point but seemed "ok" on the beta!

Also had a weird bug where you spawn on a vehicle but its not there, but your character spawns in the garb for that vehicle. Standing there with the tank load-out but no tank looks a bit weird. Work to do for sure on fixing some issues.

Had that myself a couple of times. Damned annoying.

As for the chat, I have it turned off a lot of the time. Its a shame they can't have an option to see only your team or squads chat.

It is broken.

My only complaint of what is a beautiful game which runs pretty amazingly on my 8320e & 290.

Does need 16GB RAM though.

Do you mean you don't need that amount to run it or the game doesn't/shouldn't need that much? I was using about 12gb last night...suspect a memory leak as I had with BF4.

I had some wicked games last night and I'm enjoying this more and more,i only have a gtx 970 and 8gb ram and it seems to run fine for me on my setup, average fps is in the 70s with everything on ultra, its a beautiful game and I'm finding it more fun now.

I have had a few bugs though like not being able to aim until I change weapon

gg's last night, definitely better with more than enough people for a squad :)

Yeah, takes some getting used too. It's totally different from #3 and #4 but still great fun...will try and buy it either today/tomorrow ;)

Yeah, I'm surprised how well my 980Ti is coping. 1440p, g-sync, ultra and getting 80-95fps. Even if it dropped to less, I wouldn't notice.

Hmm I've been playing a while and my 16GB didn't get used above 6GB. DX12 working perfect here, the game does state not all systems will like DX12 though.

I was using 12gb last night...something is not right though.

Anyone else had occasional graphical and FPS stuttering? like once a game or so it occurs for me.

not really,in one game I did have a MASSIVE fps spike from around 80fps down to 35fps but it only lasted 2 seconds then shot back up

I had one instance only but that was after I was mucking around with the Origin in-game UI and heard the Windows chime in the background. Force closed the game to see a low memory warning (I was also using nVidia ShadowPlay or whatever they call it now). So there's a memory leak on that front, but after that I never loaded the in-game Origin UI again and never had a single issue.

Interesting. I'll give it a shot tonight and avoid using the Origin UI to see if things improve.
