*** Battlefield 1 ***

Anyone using a GTX 1070 @ 1440p?

I'm getting the orange low fps icon at times but visually to me the game is playing really smooth.

Ultra settings (game sets these using auto settings too, DX12 on, scaling @ 100%.

Not actually monioring FPS and at work, but thought I'd see what other people are experiencing.

I played for an hour last night and it felt great. Did get one shotted a few times though which had me worried about hackers or just bugs however didn't bother me once I got into the groove.

I got to level 74 on BF4 and stopped playing for a long time. Many good memories in BF series butbeen playing CS:GO and Forza lately. Need to get back into it but enjoyed that hour.

What's the best way to squad up with you guys then? Should I join the discord and go from there?

FPS warning or packet loss warning? They're both orange, the FPS one looks like a few frames of film with an exclamation mark in the middle and the packet loss one is solid orange squares.

That opening gambit "you are not expected to survive" - oh wow.

Yeah, I was stunned at the intro. The level of detail and I could feel the intensity...I was amazed. Really made me think about those who went to war, harrowing and horrific.

The intro sequences are pretty harsh..

The harder you try the more it throws at you until it decides to artillery you or something. And that guy who spades you, I swear he just spawns right next to you! Hax I say Hax! :p

I have a Fury @ 1440. I average 80fps, during intense fighting with lots of effects I might drop to the high 60's, that's when I get the warning. I don't really understand it, 65+ fps should not warrant a low fps warning.

I didn't even know there was a warning for that...shows how much attention I pay

Anyone else had occasional graphical and FPS stuttering? like once a game or so it occurs for me.
I have had it both times when I have had time to get a quick play, mainly when first starting, I have a Samsung SSD, GTX1080, so hopefully its the game or Nvidia driver, not my hardware playing up

yep i have a 1070, game pretty much sits at 60fps maxed out at 1440p but this logo is always on screen, means low fps even though its at 60, weird a lot of people reporting this too so maybe a bug or resolved with patch/driver?

i did turn dx12 off and runs flawless now, still have the logo though! currently have 8gb ram but wil have 16gb by end of tday maybe that will help

I would use dx11 (and in fact do) as it would appear to perform better on dx11 on nvidia cards. Of course this may change with patches and/ or driver updates.

Nice one, thanks guys. Deffo low FPS icon. Thought it was a bit of a red herring. Assume drivers will improve things. Surprised we don't hae a release driver already.

FYI: I'm on a 6700k @ stock, 16GB RAM, 1070 Gaming X 8G.

Will see if I can get on with you guys over the weekend :)

Looks like it doesnt work with a controller/DS4 on PC. I'm getting drops to 20fps on my gtx 1080. The framerate fluctuates wildly barely going above 60. In fact if I have the ds4 enabled at all then my frame rate is wrecked.

I knew something was wrong when playing with a controller, but I couldn't get the fps to display.
