*** Battlefield 1 ***

I honestly thought the campaign was terrible. I guess I enjoyed the pilot one as you actually get to fly a plane but the rest were pretty sub standard.
 
yeah I don't like the campaign much,played through a couple and don't think I will bother with the rest,online is wicked though
 
Hi all, had some fun today of BF1 but have a few questions...

* Cant you spawn on team mates anymore...I only ever seem to swan on vehicles...

* What is best Speaker setup..Large, Small speakers....I have normal bookshelve speaker with external amp...

* DX11 or DX12...I'm using a AMD 390 with 8GB of Ram...

* Anyone played with memory restriction setting?

1. Never had an issue with spawning on squad members, was working last night. Could it be your squad are all in vehicles? Actually, was the game patched earlier today??

2. I use headphones to set to headphones

3. I think it depends on how well your cards and drivers are performing. Try it and if its crap, change back to DX11.

4. Memory restrictions are know to cause frame loss and stuttering, just remove it.

yes you can spawn on team mates, well you can defo always spawn on anyone in your squad,i use dx11 and seems to run great for me although I am using a nivida card,dx12 may work better for you but I'm unsure
 
FFS!!! :mad:

Can anyone tell me how to change from DX12 to DX11 so I can get crossfire working without the game crashing to desktop with a DirectX error?? (actually its any change i make to the video settings)

Restricted usage?

Yeah, that error looks like it's referencing a "buffer" which could be due to the use of GPU Memory restrictions in the menu
 
Try deleting your profile file if you can't get the game to actually load Tony?

*Edit: Might not be relevant as I missed some posts, but deleting your profile files might still help* :)
