*** Battlefield 1 ***

Just had a quick try on my setup in my sig..

Running like a dog, cant even hit 50fps on Medium settings.. obviously AMD need to give us a driver.. joke when you consider the early access players had great fps.

Tried both DX11 & DX12.

Had a quick go performance is great Ultra'd out can go from 42-50% res scale and still don't see I drop below 99fps (3440*1440).

Really need to work out what % I need to be at for 2160p res scale.

Had a quick round before setting of to work, tried to join on Josh but the round was full so went for a random game. Ended up playing a round of conquest for about 3 mins, got 2 kills with smg, nearly got a third and a flag but the round ended (with a cheeky late joiner victory).

Was getting pretty high frames (90+ but I'll check again this evening) with everything on ultra @ 1440. Seemed pretty smooth.

Can't wait for this evening! :)

Fixed my low fps, i assumed that 100% resolution scale was 1080p for my monitor like it was in BF4.. lol now at 42% Ultra getting 80fps to anything up to 180fps (looking up to the sky) on my 480 :D Average fps looks to be around 80-90.. and thats just DX11. :)

Great start....

Im not sure if i'd consider it manning up, I just like flying with a stick, its much better I think....

Consoles are thataway ------------>

Go on now, go!

Errrm initial thoughts - rank 8 now, scoring points is really easy. Snipers are OP, tanks are OP. I've unlocked all the Warbonds weapons because I kept earning them and had a strockpile, they are all pretty naff.

Enjoying it so far, 144fps Ultra @ 1080. Too much faff on the screen though and the sandstorm is pants.

What's resolution scale all about then?

Never played BF on my PC before, is it something that will impact performance a lot?

50% basically means you are at default resolution, not scaled and now rendered at lower res.

100% just renders things at a higher res and anything under 50% at a lower than native res.

I prefer to keep it as native 50%
