THE VIDEOS ARE FROM PRE-ALPHA

They're just teasers to give you an idea of the atmosphere. Nothing more, nothing less. Everything else is speculation. No point getting your skid marked y-fronts in a twist over essentially nothing.
 
My only gripe from that single player video was that that soldier was a bit trigger happy, what ever happened to tap tap - tap tap enemy down !

No one is going to know for sure how it will look, play, feel, sound fail or make it till its released and played for a while ....

No doubt but can you imagine being still in that height in MP to care? heh.. everyone and their rpg will be firing at you, not to mention the LMG gunner being stationary for so long, in MP it'll be xxcoolsniperdudexx on your head before you realise :P

nah just for when you're on the ground noticing casings rain down on you as it streaks over head would be a nice touch :p
 
Christ! all this 'console port" **** is starting to really annoy me, needs banning.

P.S. BF3 will be amazing, really liking the look of it so far. Can't wait for 32vs32 multiplayer.
 
If they get this game right, and I mean the mp and the gameplay not just the graphics (which look awsome) then this might just end up being the best ever fps created.

I really want to play an intense, team based fps, and this might just deliver!

BF1942 had bascially nothing for the single player, it was totally multiplayer focused. IIRC BF2 was the same. With the rise of CoD, they brought in BC to even it out. Question is, would you buy B3 if it was JUST a multplayer game, no campaign at all, and therefore all the time invested into the online aspect?

I just want some big open maps, lots of sniper spots and a fair few vehicles to not drive very well at all.

If the multiplayer was epic, and offered a team work and cooperation, then hell yes, would i buy this only for mp.

Even at £40 I'd buy it, as it would have years of gameplay in it.

However, Im the opposite for games which are single player only. In my eyes, I cant justify spending £30 on a single player only game...

Better to wait for the prices to come down to more £20 and below.

i am buying BF3 JUST for multiplayer....single player will only be played if THE INTERNET goes down :P

Would be funny to kill people with casings instead of the actual bullets though.

Aye, and that's how BF should be played. Just massive servers, of long lasting games that are tied right until the dying minutes. No more 10 min death matches plix.

Vids look good for an early peak tbh, even if they are being played with a pad by the looks of it (?)

Only want BF3 for multiplayer so fingers crossed :)
