I dont think it needs changing, its the only way of taking down a pro choppa pilot half the time. If the pilot has a ECM and so does the gunner its very hard to shoot them down unless they stay in range. (which they never do) They sweep in, activate ECM get the kill and activate more ECM before leaving the zone. If they keep doing this you have no chance. Not saying this is a bad thing, 1v1 i guess a choppa should win especially if they spot you first. However there is no need to tip the balance any further either way.

Also a good choppa+gunner take you out in one run before you've even got the lock. With a chopper going up against multiple tanks though i dont think it should win. Choppa's have always been a problem in my eyes had many a game ruined by a good pilot and gunner. Its great fun when the imbalance is in your side, not so much when its not.

Sadly choppa will become over powered (as if they werent already) once the new patch kicks in and nerfs the javelin on air vehicles.

I just read my post and realised how annoying it is when i write choppa. I'll never use that word again except when i shout run, go, get to tha choppa.

Just got so much abuse on Matts server for killing people with the mortar on Grand Bazaar! made me laugh so much! one guy had 71 kills to 25 deaths and started whining at me cos i killed him twice!

Lol. I hate getting morter'd. Abuse is not cool though, i better pop on and crack some skulls. :cool:
 
Quick update guys, switched my server up a little bit. It's now a softcore conquest on Back to Karkand only maps. Anybody up for checking it out? Would appreciate it. :)

I'm looking for admins too, if it takes off. :p

Wise choice mate. I think trying to offer the guys here something different other than just copying mine is a good idea. There are some cool dudes here who only play softcore, plus one of the main requests on my server is adding the B2K maps. Good lad.
 
I'm about to have spent more time on BF3 than I did on public BF2. I'm not saying BF3 hasn't got its issues but I find it so much more enjoyable than BF2 was (publicly anyway). <3 Seine Crossing.

They seemed to leave when we switched to Karg made me laugh though i hate getting mortared too but when you've lost all the flags there's not too much else you can do managed to created some breathing room to fight back
