I don't agree with people who say B2K is more popular, as soon as one of the B2K maps (any one of them) came on it would kill the server. Because we run 2 rounds per map the thing never survived one coming on and would be just us playing by the time it changed.

Never could work out if it was because people didn't have it or didn't like it but we had to remove them in the end.

Aye i was trying to explain this to snail and a few others yesterday. Sadly because of the way Dice have setup battlelog and quick match traffic mixing the new maps and old maps will reduce the traffic your server receives. However for now im going to stick with it. Hardcore mode, every single map available for vote.

sorry i disappeared last night.
after my 3rd crash in three games i rage sulked and went to bed.

probs gonna have to sort that out this afternoon instead of playing today

seems it was the night for crashes, I was struggling with them last night and just quit...

It's frustrating to lose 3k points with a crash, log back in and close the round with 500 :mad:
 
Does the voting actually work on matt's server?

I saw people voting and it said that people voted for Karkand but it went straight to gulf of olman then Karkand.
 
I was wondering whether anybody knows a fix/improvement for them incredibly lond map load up times on the Vanilla maps.

It's as if B2K maps load within 20 seconds and Vanilla loads 1 minute or more.
 
If you have 16gb of RAM you could make a RAM drive :p

If not you will just have to wait for the next patch and hope they fix the legacy code for the old maps
 
I was on last night, but as said, it kept crashing out, only seems to happen on this server for me now???

Started off as Russian, then crashed out, came back as US, then balanced over to the Russian side again, a lot of baseraping going on as well, little bit off-putting for BF n00bs like me!
