Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

this is really good! :D

Still running really nicely for me, could put it up to hgh but prefer medium settings for more consistent smooth experience!
 
wow does sound promising. I might actually get another Battlefield after all.
how is it different from B3 gameplay wise. does it feel more solid

we can't really compare it to BF3 just yet. wait for final release.

for cheap price simplecdkeys
 
for me this game is great compared to bf 3

like how the guns feel
no suppression, at least not the same way it was in bf 3 i.e. blurfield and bullet spread goes everywhere except where you aim....
game looks good with colour to it
great map design
much better ui

etc. etc.

going on for some conquest now so my mind might change with regards to that :D

Oh and had a quick go with helis in empty server earlier and flying around the buildings is immense!

All at 1920x1080.

Completely unplayable for me whatever settings I have it on. Just chugs and jerks its way along.

It should be playable on at least medium settings with a FX6300 and 2GB 7850 surely?
 
Played the demo last night and it seemed to run pretty well all things considered with it being a beta etc.

But wont be purchasing till the full release for the following reason.

Interesting to see that the beta does not have the full damage model implemented only the large scripted events (Skyscraper collapse).

BC2 used to grind to a stuttering halt at the end of long rounds when the map had been practically leveled.
 
Is there a way to stop the Origin My Games window from popping up EVERY SINGLE TIME you launch BF3 or BF4?

It is a pain having to close it every time!

Beta is completely unplayable for me, getting 15-35 fps with everything on low with latest beta's @1080p.... And I am above the minimum requirements, I thought it would run ok... I'm going to have to cancel my pre order as I can't afford an upgrade :(

So sad :(
 
Recon: Sniper rifle is useless, don't know why but im having massive issues using it, am ok in BF3 but my god spamming the spotter IR scope thingy really racks up your points!!!! I just hide a little out of battle and mark doritos on everyone and let the points roll up!

Try the 320.49 drivers, beta ones were horrible for me and switching to these made it much more playable.

My 460 died so I'm playing with a 280GTX. I have to run it in 1280*720 all low settings and a smidgen of AA. Looks as ugly as you can imagine but runs smooth enough to play.

Stop talking rubbish. There are performance issues with the BF4 beta build which DICE have acknowledged and are in the process of fixing.

I get so frustrated by all these knee jerk reaction people.
 
Im enjoying it so far, to be honest. It is 1000x better then Bf3 and this is only the beta.

Graphically even though not everything is there it still looks great. Game play wise I enjoy it the guns feel good the sounds feel good the lighting is good. The helicopters feel nice to play not to easy like bf3. I hope that the planes are not arcadey like bf3...

Overall it is not to bad theres somethings that need improving for sure how ever it is not as terribad as Bf3 was.

Irony being your having a kneejerk reaction.

Relax... his hardware is kinda out of date which is why he has issues..... he never blamed the game ;)

Don't give up yet. I've pretty much got the recommended requirements and still can't get the game to run even on low settings. :)
