Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

oh and lol, just had a look and all of my battle reports from today are missing except the last match I played yet stats, unlocks have still remained :rolleyes:

How on earth could DICE/EA release a game as buggy/broken as this :confused: No joke, I don't remember any game from the last like 4-5 years being anywhere as buggy/broken as this!
 
Is anyone else finding the campaign really boring? The characters annoy me, the story seems disjointed etc. I'm forcing myself to complete it as I want the medals and the unlockables. :D

Weren't around for Rome 2, the other week? Simcity a couple of months before that? buggy games are released constantly -- they're aware of the issues and are going to fix them as fast as they're going to come out - nothing you can do but play it and lump it, give it a break until a few patches are out or rage like a toddler :p

Don't play those games :p

But the amount of even basic things are broken, left out, not to mention why are they having so many problems considering the game is essentially bf 3 just done the way we wanted it from the start. I still don't really see anything that couldn't have been done with a patch to bf 3

i.e.

auto balancing is broke
only implemented the que system the other day and iirc for bf 3 launch, it had problems too
can't make platoons for bf 4

Plus the fact that the beta was much more stable than this after the wonder patch..........

Joke the way games are so buggy on release these days!
 
I've bought 3 games this year. Sim City, Total War: Rome 2 and Battlefield 4. I'm **** out of luck aren't I :p

Most annoying thing for me that was discussing with a mate the other day is that these kind of releases are expected now and not surprising because they happen over and over. BF4 for instance featuring numerous bugs that are from BF3. At some point I think there really should be a financial penalty imposed on developers/publishers if games are released in this state, but how bad does it actually have to get before that is considered an option by Ofcom/Trading standards or whoever deals with that kind of thing.
 
One thing that annoys me so much lately too is that bug where you hit a heli with tv missile, rocket etc., you see black smoke but no reg. Seriously this has been around since BC 2 and they can't/won't fix it.

I must have hit about 6 or so helis today and nothing, gets to the point where I CBA bothering any more.......
 
I just had an absolutely fantastic game of Flood District Obliteration. Really enjoyed myself, got the T88 LMG unlock for the 4th time in a row (it seems to reset daily), a whole load of other unlocks and rank progression, 32 kills 8 deaths, etc, then the server crashed at the end of the map and none of it got saved to my character....

still have stutter/lock up problems that are freezing the screen for maybe 1-2secs every 10seconds or so, anyone have any ideas why or how to fix ? cheers
 
Well this is a bloody coincidence... I go on and get 16-0 in less than 5 minutes.

Weird, it just doesn't seem to like internet explorer. Switched to using firefox for the server browsing and it works, no plugin problems :confused:

Just had a quick go, running ultra settings at 1440p and everything was smooth and looked good :)
 
Well I managed 1 round before I got a freeze and .5 seconds audio loop. It's always half way through a fast turn I do while playing Domination. Any other crash for me is server based.

I can only assume with crashes being worse at certain times that it is Battlelog-based.
 
I haven't played on it since Saturday am, too many crashes, I'm not coming back until the servers are at least looked at by DICE.
