It's annoying when people hang back in a rush game, i agree.
But overall, in other gamemodes, camping and sniping IS a tacticjust like camping overlooking a point to protect it (if it's yours) or to spot and pin-down (if you're attacking it).
It's amazing how many people are butt-hurt because they can't tackle a sniper or a camper.
Change your tactic to tackle/avoid them. It's not just run and gun. Go and play CoD if you want that.
It's is fine if there is only a few doing it but I, like many others get annoyed when there are 10+ on your team standing around sniping.

I saw this earlier but I have not used the grenade launcher once and on Sunday it was crashing in every session.
Cheers bud. I hope they fix a few things, namely:
- Ticket counts being visable in the server list, amount of times I have joined for a loss!
- Remembering that I always sort by ping
- Remembering my custom country choices

Haven't got my settings where I want them yet tho. There is something not right because I'm struggling to break even in K/D, yet in BF3 I was going at 2-3 K/D. I'm losing almost every 1v1.

Having loved BC2 and slightly enjoyed BF3, I'm enjoying BF4 very much indeed. Loving the Obliteration mode as it really promotes good teamplay, even with a bunch of randoms.
Reached Rank 10 the other day and tried commander mode, which I found a bit confusing. Either no one was asking for orders, or I didn't see where they were being displayed. There was only really one squad that was doing as it was told anyhow!
I could do with a decent tutorial of commander mode. First impressions though are that it seems an awful lot more nerfed than BF2 Commander mode was.
One more thing.......mounted guns/turrets etc in tanks seem awfully weak now against infantry. Anyone else notice this??

I can't find any info on why it's down, how long, facebook, twitter and forums as well as BL (but it's down). Where do you guys get your info?

On a serious note... Tap tap tap, wins the fire fight! I had the same problem on starting playing it! taptaptap
Well if we get an actual patch it's client - they will post it at some point as they've got a sticky on the battlelog forums for the server side updates.
Enjoying it when i can play. I was refraining from purchasing after not really liking bf 4 that much.
I can say i am thoroughly enjoying it, WHEN it doesn't crash
Saying that though, I have managed to spent a lot of time with fixes and am successfully getting the crashes to a minimum now.
X-Fire = Delete
Realtek Audi driver = update
Direct X = uninstall reinstall
Nvidia Driver = Uninstall all, reinstall ONLY driver and physx.
Still crashes but not as much.

It's annoying when the enemy team is full of snipers and you are constantly trying to evade shots from all sides on wide open maps. Yeah, you can use vehicles and stay inside buildings but it's annoying nonetheless.

Considering Recon is basically the BC2 class, those snipers server no real purpose.
Offensive Recon > Camper "Recon".
Typically it's best to leave all the long range snipers alone if they're on the other team. The kind of player who does that is invariably terrible and won't hit anyone anyway so they're a waste of a slot if your team just ignores them. But as soon as you have 2-3 people deciding to chase him, hes become valuable. Also if you're the one on the team with 5-10 people sitting on hills sniping, leave, they've lost you the game.
