The majority of recons are snipers who just sit way at the back or on top of a building just to try and get their pro k/d (and the funny thing is, they generally are always at the bottom with a poor k/d

).
How often do you see a sniper defending a point? Not very often.
How often do they spot people/vehicles? Not very often (although this applies to a lot of other players too)
How often do snipers soflam targets? Not very often and the only times they seem to do something about a tank is when the tank is becoming a problem for "them"
How often do they plant their spawn beacons somewhere that isn't at the top of a building or/and somewhere at the very edge of the map away from the flags? Not very often.
How often do you see a sniper moving from their fortified position to capture/defend a flag, even if it is right below/beside them? Not very often.
etc. etc.
A good "recon" player is someone like wes who runs around capturing/defending flags, taking tanks out with c4, throwing motion balls etc.
And yes the support guys are just as annoying! I am having to swap kits non stop purely because people don't supply ammo
It is hard to do revives in this game due to:
- still quite a short window to get there and takes a bit longer to bring them out + revive someone with a decent amount of health
- you don't want to run out in the open if you haven't killed/spotted the guy who killed your team mate and a lot of the times you can't revive as the enemy will still be firing at you/other people nearby i.e. last night dodger got killed by a tank and I was going to go and revive but couldn't as the tank was still there watching the area so was no point myself getting killed as well and losing another ticket + a good spawn location.
